Perfect to drink right now. The producers kept this wine until it was ready so don't be tempted to hoard it.
Perfect for Sunday lunch.
Wonderful with roast lamb.
We Say...
The key word here is 'Reserva' which means that it is made from superior grapes and only released when it is ready to drink. Made in a traditional style (very smooth, loads of caramel), this is a huge quality step up from bog standard Rioja.
I wasn't wild about Rioja before, but this has persuaded me! Very smooth, classy taste, good all rounder

I love my Roja's, but I thought this tasted very young for a Reserva. Still nice, but not amazing.

very good indeed

Almost like Radfor Dale Shiraz! very tast, warm, fruity, slightly peppery aftertaste, £9 ok. (My note was about a 2003, not 2005, sadly; the 2005 doesn't seem as good as my notes imply)

Excellent all rounder. Powerful (for a Spanish wine) and very refined. Reminds me a a good Bordeaux.

If I could I would give this wine 4.5 stars. Lovely vanilla flavour. Silky wine with generous berry and almost chocolate taste

Had nicer for the price
